West Ham vs. Chelsea
Having almost earned a point from Manchester City, David Moyes men will seek to get a positive result against an in-form Chelsea. The form books will play out in this fixture and Chelsea should run out winners in this London derby.
Burnley vs Watford
Two teams who are in a position to challenge for a spot in Europe next season will meet. Both teams have been playing well so far this season and have highly-coveted managers. A scoring draw should be the ideal result come full time.
Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth
Having left the foot of the table for the first time this season, Crystal Palace aim to continue their ascension. They face Bournemouth, who themselves were in the bottom three for a while and will seek to avoid that cat fight for the rest of the season. Roy Hodgson has instilled defensive stability in Palace, but it may not be enough to stop Callum Wilson and Bournemouth.
Huddersfield vs Brighton
These two newly promoted teams started life very well in the league. However, in recent weeks, reality has set in, especially for Huddersfield. They will seek this well-needed home win to avoid being dragged into the relegation fight most expected them to be in from the jump.
Swansea vs West Brom
Paul Clement saw his team plummet to the foot of the table last weekend. He seeks to stop the rut, as he managed to do so admirably last season. Luckily for him, he will face a West Brom team coached by Alan Pardew. The Swans at home should be able to pull off a victory in this clash.
Tottenham vs Stoke City
Having surprisingly topped their Champions League group of death with five wins, Spurs will seek to get back to winning ways in the BPL. They should be able to achieve this result against a struggling Stoke, even though the Potters won last weekend.
Newcastle vs Leicester City
The backroom politics of a potential take-over seems to be affecting Newcastle’s on-field run, along with a thin and weak squad for an EPL season. Rafa Benitez will hope to do damage control until the January window is opened. Hopefully the takeover will happen within that period. Getting a draw against Leicester should be a good result, but a better Leicester side should edge this fixture.
Southampton vs Arsenal
The side from the south coast will seek to maintain their decent run by inflicting another painful defeat on the Gunners. Having almost held Man City to a draw recently, they will hope to achieve a positive result against a top team. A draw should be the end result.
Liverpool vs Everton
An entertaining Merseyside derby is in the offing with free-scoring Liverpool facing an improving Everton under Big Sam. Liverpool should be raring to go, especially given that they have won their UCL group in style. Everton will also be pumped for this fixture on the back of two straightforward home wins on the trot. Liverpool should be the favourites in what could turn out to be a high scoring game.
Manchester United vs Manchester City
The Manchester derby will round out this weeks round of games. United will face a City side who suffered the first loss of their season, albeit having several changes after already winning their UCL group. The loss of Paul Pogba will be major to United’s attacking intent. But the potential return of Phil Jones should be a major boost to a defence that should be heavily tested. De Gea may need to be a hero again for another match week for United to win. City seems to be due a loss in the league, and this fixture could be it, especially with Jose needing to put one over on Pep.
Here’s one last look at Ryan’s picks. Good luck everyone!
