Burnley vs Stoke City
An in-form Burnley faces an insipid Stoke. Based on the form book, Sean Dyche’s men should win and pile on more pressure on Mark Hughes whose side has the most UCL winners in the league, yet are struggling to stay away from the bottom three.
Crystal Palace vs Watford
A more defensive Crystal Palace will face Watford at home. The Hornets will seek to return to winning ways, while the Eagles will seek to climb away from the cellar position and bottom three. A draw should be the result.
Huddersfield vs Chelsea
Chelsea will seek to avoid another shock loss to a smaller team when they face Huddersfield away. Of their four league losses this season, three have been to much smaller clubs. They will need a win in this fixture to solidify their top four position. A Chelsea win is expected.
Newcastle vs Everton
Big Sam has so far instilled some defensive discipline into an Everton side that is now in the top half of the table. They will seek to continue their climb when they face a beleaguered Rafa Benitez and Newcastle away. Everton will find them ripe for the picking and should be able to pick them off.
Southampton vs Leicester
Southampton faces an in-form Leicester at home. Both teams should do well to battle to a scoring draw.
Swansea vs Manchester City
Having open up a double-digit lead in the BPL with yet another 2-1 victory, this time over arch rivals Manchester United in the Manchester derby last weekend, Manchester City will seek to extend their league record win streak to 15 games over the Swans. Given City’s form, a comfortable win in the end should be achieved.
Liverpool vs West Brom
Alan Pardew will bring his West Brom side to Anfield. Liverpool will expect to canter away with three points and push the team from Birmingham closer to, if not in the bottom three.
Manchester United vs Bournemouth
Having lost the Manchester derby, United will be glad for such a quick return to the field. They will be served up Bournemouth at home as a palate cleanser. The south coast team has been solid of late, but United has shown their great recovery skills after losing a fixture this season. They should be too much for a defensively solid Bournemouth.
Tottenham vs Brighton
Spurs will seek to continue their resurgence when they face Brighton at home. With Harry Kane fit and firing and Son finally being given starts, Spurs front line will be too much for Brighton.
West Ham vs Arsenal
Having pulled off an upset against Chelsea at home over the weekend, West Ham will seek to take the scalp of another top six team at the Olympic Stadium as they face Arsenal. This time, however, the Gunners will edge the Hammers and leave the other side of London with the three points.
