Leicester vs Stoke City
Stoke will seek a win to avoid being further dragged into the relegation tussle. Leicester should start favourites and should come out trumps as they pursue European football.
Bournemouth vs Newcastle
Two inconsistent teams will meet on the south coast. This fixture could go either way, but both teams will seek a win to avoid a relegation fight, as the gap from 10th, where Bournemouth, to 19th (Stoke) is just six points midtable to the foot is highly congested. Bournemouth will edge this tie.
Brighton vs Swansea
Both these teams will need a win to continue their relegation fight. A draw may be the result which could be satisfying to both teams.
Burnley vs Southampton
Two teams that have problems scoring will meet in this fixture. Burnley being the stronger and more consistent team this season should edge this fixture.
Liverpool vs West Ham
This may prove to be a high scoring fixture with the Scousers running out victors. A victory is a must for them to put more pressure on the top four, with two of the four meeting this weekend.
West Brom vs Huddersfield
Alan Pardew is already under pressure as he hasn’t been able to give West Brom the jump start they’ve needed in their fight against the drop. Huddersfield did put up four against Bournemouth in their last league outing, but they and their hosts will share the spoils in a scrappy affair.
Watford vs Everton
These two mid-table teams will seek to push for a higher placing. They will, however, play to a high-scoring draw.
Crystal Palace vs Tottenham
This London derby may well prove to be a scrappy affair with the home team trying to stave off relegation and the away team fighting for the top four and extra momentum ahead of their UCL second leg fixture against Juventus. The stronger team will just edge it in the end.
Manchester United vs Chelsea
The marquee fixture of the round is a highly anticipated one with tactically alike managers who dislike each other. The war of words will culminate at Old Trafford with United seeking to avenge their loss at Stamford Bridge. Jose Mourinho will need this win stemming from his UCL criticism and to maintain second place. Chelsea also will need a win to maintain their top for position and build on their positive result versus Barcelona. A draw would not be detrimental to either, and this should be the full-time result.
