Premier League Week 11 Predictions

Bournemouth vs Manchester United (1-1)

Eddie Howe has had Bournemouth overachieving, even if it’s just a quarter of the season complete. They will face Jose’s men at home, a team they should fancy themselves against with their intense attacking. A creditable draw would be a good result for the home team.

Cardiff vs Leicester City (1-2)

This will be an emotional fixture for the league and Leicester. Coming on the heels following the loss of the owner last weekend, Leicester will go out seeing a winner in his honour. One they should be expected to get facing a current struggler.

Everton vs Brighton (2-0)

Everton and Brighton are separated by a point. These are two teams with different goals this season. Everton will seek to get more consistent starting with this fixture. Brighton will seek to continue overachieving. The home team is a bit more fluid and very much a better team. Everton should win this fixture.

Newcastle vs Watford (0-2)

Rafa Benitez is likely to be facing additional pressure come full-time. Last round they drew with an equally bad Southampton, this time however, they will come up against a proper Watford team at St. James’ Park. The away team is in form and should run out comfortable winners.

West Ham vs Burnley (1-1)

This fixture sees two very inconsistent teams facing off. The safe bet seems to be a draw given their current playing realities.

Arsenal vs Liverpool (2-3)

The marquee fixture of this round will see Arsenal who has not lost any of their last eight league games, face an undefeated Liverpool. An attacking match is expected, one with many goals, that Liverpool should win.

Wolves vs Tottenham (1-2)

Wolves are expected to go toe to toe with Spurs at Molineux. Having hit a form slump, even though playing well, Wolves may just see themselves being on the losing end again. With the returning Alli and Eriksen, Spurs should be stronger and should win.

Manchester City vs Southampton (3-0)

This seems a matter of how many the home teams will score as opposed to what the result will be. City should run out the comfortable winner against their former manager Mark Hughes Southampton side.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace (2-0)

Chelsea has emerged as surprise package this season, as they are currently challenging with the expected top two. They should be able to continue this trend with a win against London rival Crystal Palace. The opponents of Chelsea are expected to make it a contest, but the power of Chelsea should put them over.

Huddersfield vs Fulham (2-2)

Both teams are in the drop zone and will need a win in this fixture to stand any chance of getting out immediately. Both teams are haemorrhaging goals; however Fulham with their attacking intent do score regularly. A draw could be the result.
