Fulham vs Watford (1-1)

Fulham will face an in-form Watford at home. Watford will be seeking to bounce back from their home loss to Manchester United. Fulham, for all their potential, have been struggling on their return. A draw may be the likely result.

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle (2-0)

Rafa Benitez will bring his Newcastle team to London where they will face Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace. This is a fixture that could produce any result, but with a difference maker such as Wilfried Zaha leading the attack for the home team, they should start favourites.

Leicester vs Huddersfield (2-0)

Leicester’s form this season has been very patchy. They actually have been good going forward but shambolic in defence. Claude Puel, who is know for defensive stability, will seek to arrest this problem at home to a plucky Huddersfield. A victory for the home team is the expected result. Another loss will definitely see the critics turn on Puel again as they did at the back end of last season.

Cardiff City vs Manchester City (0-4)

Manchester City will face Cardiff in Wales. They will seek to rebound from the shock opening round Champions League loss. The title favourites are expected to trounce the relegation favourites.

Liverpool vs Southampton (3-0)

Southampton will travel to Anfield and face a Liverpool team that contains several of their former players. The Scousers latest recruit from them, Virgil van Dijk is expected to be booed by the away fans given the circumstances surrounding his departure. The home team is expected to win comfortably and maintain their perfect start.

Manchester United vs Wolves (2-1)

Manchester United are expected to face a serious test at home against Wolves with their mainly Portuguese contingent and positive play. Given that they possess a bit more quality, United should come out the victors.

Burnley vs Bournemouth (1-2)

Burnley are expected to have a very tough season; especially given they were expected to compete in Europe. With that now out of the picture, their struggles continue, to the extent they are now at the foot of the table. They will seek to get their season on track when they face a rampant Bournemouth at home. Eddie Howe’s positive playing style and form team should be the ones leaving with all three points.

Brighton vs Tottenham (1-3)

For the first time in his Spurs career as a coach, Mauricio Pochettino is on a run of three successive defeats. They will see Brighton as their ideal team for a winning return. A win should be the expect result for the only London UCL competitors this season.

West Ham vs Chelsea (1-2)

The Hammers got off the mark last weekend after four opening defeats. They should be pumped up for this London derby as they face a Chelsea team that has a perfect record this season thus far. The Hammers are expected to give a brilliant account of themselves, but their London rivals should leave with a victory and their perfect record intact.

Arsenal vs Everton (1-1)

Everton will travel to Emirates Stadium still smarting from losing at home to West Ham last weekend. After their opening two losses of the season, Arsenal have managed to get their season back on track. Traditionally, and over the last few seasons especially, they have normally bested Everton. A draw may be the result on this occasion.
