Everton about to get £100m – or equivalent – they wanted for Romelu Lukaku. Impressive transfer window from them so far.

Who could’ve seen this coming? Jokes aside, Lukaku should hit the ground running for his new club provided they don’t require much from him beyond sticking the ball in the back of the net. Going the other way is Rooney who returns to Everton a legend after 13 seasons for the Red Devils. Say what you will, English Pele deserves respect and tributes have not stopped since the deal was announced. Best of luck to both players at their new clubs.
First it was United but they quickly changed tune (see above) and now it’s Chelsea’s turn to not buy Morata.
Everything indicates that Morata will stay at Real Madrid the upcoming season but Chelsea may make a move. Real Madrid want €90M. [marca] pic.twitter.com/iHzNcoaY9e

Safe to say Madrid won’t be getting much faxes for Alvaro anytime soon with that kinda price tag.
Rudiger to Chelsea
After reportedly wanting out of Italy for abuse aimed his way, Rudiger has gotten his wish by moving to the Premier League champions.

From a footballing point of view, this is a solid pick up for Chelsea. Terry is gone and the jury is still out on Gary Cahilll despite a good season. There’s ample room for the German to establish himself as a regular in Conte’s backline if he adjusts quickly. It’s just a pity he had to join under these circumstances. Stamp it out, FIFA.
Staying with Chelsea, it seems another

The Chelsea machine just keeps on chugging.
Alexis to stay?
Alexis needs to call it quits on his Arsenal career if he’s to achieve Champions League glory according to the great Ivan Zamarano.

Arsenal look to be showing some backbone with this one. After years of losing top players to rivals enough is finally enough. Some may wonder if it would be better to sell him now and collect the transfer fee. Some may also wonder just how flammable the Emirates Stadium really is.
