Chelsea vs Arsenal: London Derby!

Jose Mourinho has come out better in all competitive games against Arsène Wenger and he will want to maintain that record. Chelsea has made a poor start and they will need to bounce back and what better way than beating the Gunners at home. Arsenal is coming off a difficult defeat against Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia and the players might be jaded.

Chelsea 2 Arsenal 1

Aston Villa vs West Brom

Both teams are in the bottom half of the table and are struggling in the league. Aston Villa blew a two goal lead and lost 3-2 against Leicester City last weekend and the players could be low on confidence.

Aston Villa 1 West Brom 1

Bournemouth vs Sunderland

Sunderland has yet to register a victory in the league. Bournemouth has yet to register a home victory and Sunderland with their experience and players could possibly take advantage of this and register their first victory. I am leaning towards Sunderland on this one and hope they don’t let me down!

Bournemouth 1 Sunderland 2

Newcastle vs Watford

Newcastle is rock bottom of the league! That is very surprising and the pressure with be mounting on Steve McClaren if he doesn’t get a result soon. I am leaning towards the Magpies and expect them to get a comfortable victory in this one.

Newcastle 2 Watford 0

Stoke vs Leicester

High flying Leicester City comes up against winless Stoke at the Britannia. This is a very difficult game to predict and I am leaning towards a draw in this one!

Stoke 1 Leicester 1

Swansea vs Everton

Everton outplayed Chelsea last weekend and destroyed them! They come up against Swansea in what should be an entertaining game! I expect goals from both ends in this game.

Swansea 2 Everton 2

Man City vs West Ham

Top of the table Manchester City welcomes West Ham in what should be a routine victory for City. West Ham has beaten Arsenal and Liverpool away but I don’t expect them to impose any problems on Man City.

Man City 3 West Ham 0

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace

Tottenham are coming off a great win in the Europa league with new signing Son looking impressive. Alan Pardew’s Palace looks like a team hard to beat and have been playing good football. Leaning towards Spurs on a victory here and to kick start their Premier league push for a top 5/6 finish.

Tottenham 2 Crystal Palace 1

Liverpool vs Norwich

Liverpool should beat Norwich at home convincingly. Pressure is mounting on Brendan Rodgers but a home victory against Norwich should ease that pressure a little bit.

Liverpool 3 Norwich 1

Southampton vs Manchester United

St Mary’s Stadium should be buzzing this weekend with the red devils visiting. Man United are coming off a disappointing loss to PSV in the Champions league and with Luke Shaw’s horrific injury, Van Gaal will need to make changes. Southampton has looked to turn around their disappointing start to the season by earning four points in their last two games. Expecting Van Gaal men’s to get a victory in this one.

Southampton 1 Man United 2
